Melody Stein
Born into a family of entrepreneurs in Hong Kong, Melody Stein became a third-generation business owner. Her family has operated primarily restaurants in Hong Kong since 1970. In 1980, her parents decided to relocate to America so that Melody and her brother could attend a Deaf school, California School for the Deaf in Fremont. Melody's father then opened a restaurant in San Francisco. This was when Melody knew she wanted to follow in his footsteps.
Melody obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management from San Francisco State University then pursued her childhood dream.
Since 2007, Melody and her husband, Russell Stein have founded several businesses together including a restaurant and business education & consulting service
In 2021, Melody Stein is launching MxT 2510, a sustainable clothing brand with her daughter, Taysia Stein.
Kyle Amber Clark
a lifelong learner who is still on her journey with the passion to share and advance inclusion across
the board in our deaf communities. She is keen on changing the narratives to ensure Black and brown deaf folx have a place in all the stories. Her goal
is to elevate counter-narratives until they are
no longer countering.
